Senior Production Supervisor– Circa *£40,000– Tonbridge, Kent
The Role

We are one of the UK's leading dry powder manufacturers, looking to appoint Senior Production Supervisors to our growing team.
As a Senior Production Supervisor at Drytec Spray Drying Ltd., you will oversee daily operations and ensure efficient, high-quality production. You will play a key role in training and developing our Trainee Process Engineers and supporting the Production Manager and existing Shift Supervisors.
Work on a rotating shift pattern:
- Day shifts: 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00
- Night shift: 22:00 to 06:00 (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support production teams across day and night shifts
- Oversee the setup, operation, and cleaning of commercial spray dryers
- Provide training and ongoing development for Trainee Process Engineers
- Ensure production targets are met without compromising safety or quality
- Collaborate with Shift Supervisors to improve processes and resolve issues

Drytec Spray Drying Ltd. has more than thirty years of experience in particle drying technology, working with leading companies across Europe in the Food, Pharmaceutical and Fragrance industries.
We are able to produce a wide range of products to exceptional quality and hygiene standards for volumes from a few Kgs to many Tonnes. We have tremendous experience in providing spray drying services to the Food Industry including Flavours, Individual Ingredients, Pharmaceutical Excipients, Colours and Nutritional products.
The Person
- At least 5 years’ experience as a supervisor in an engineering or manufacturing company.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing production teams.
- Knowledge of production processes and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Flexible to work rotating shifts (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, or 22:00-06:00).
- There is some heavy lifting involved in the role, and as such you must be physically fit enough to lift and carry 25Kg product bags.
