If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you to join a fantastic charity as a Youth Development Worker.As a Youth Development Worker, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of young individuals, fostering a safe and inclusive space for growth and development. You'll be part of a team committed to making a difference in the lives of young people, providing mentorship, guidance, and advocacy.This role is really suited to someone who likes to manage their own diary and caseload, and enjoys interacting with lots of people on a daily basis.

Empower and inspire young people to overcome challenges and build a brighter future.
Create and implement engaging programs that promote personal and social development.
Collaborate with community partners to expand the reach and impact of youth initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

Update risk assessments and risk management plans
Create, and update support action plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds.
Provide
Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all young people.
Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development to enhance youth support practices.

Preferred Requirements:

An ability to engage with a range of young people
A tenacity in seeking the best outcomes for young people
A good understanding of young people’s needs, safeguarding and emotional and mental health issues
An understanding of support needs and support planning
Understand risk assessing and risk management
