Part Time Finance Officer, Towcester, 16 hours per week, up to £36,000 pro-rata

Our client is seeking a Part time Finance Officer to join their busy and multi sited business.Working 16 hours per week in this stand alone role and include the following responsibilities

  • Review all income and expenditure statements, identifying any inaccuracies
  • Ensure invoices are paid within the given time frame
  • Maintain the computerized accounting system.
  • Reconciliation and management of bank accounts.
  • Banking of cash and cheques
  • Maintain an effective system for the handling of petty cash and cheques
  • Reconcile and process cash receipts
  • Preparation of monthly payroll and deal with year- end
  • Administer and manage pensions.
  • Preparation of quarterly and ad-hoc financial reporting
  • Ensure that effective financial controls are in place and processes are adhered to
  • Liaise with the accountants, in particular, in the preparation of the annual accounts
  • Attend management meetings as required
  • Cash-flow monitoring and forecasting

Suited to a candidate who holds all round accounting skills and can work to deadlines, on their own initiate and be confident at communicating at all levels.
