We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation on a part-time basis. This standalone role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the finance function, working closely with senior leaders to drive financial performance and provide strategic insight.
The Role:
As the sole finance professional in the organisation, you will play a key role in managing and enhancing financial processes, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee transactional finance including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Produce monthly management accounts, analyse financial performance, and present key insights to the leadership team.
- Manage the budgeting process and provide regular forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, including VAT, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Support project financials, ensuring accurate tracking of costs and profitability.
- Provide financial guidance on business decisions, cost control, and opportunities for process improvements.
About You:
We are looking for a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in a broad finance role. You will have strong technical knowledge and be confident working independently. Key skills and attributes include:
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end finance processes in an SME or similar environment.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.
