Composite Fitter
About the Role
I am working with the dynamic motorsport business to recruit a composite fitter to join this fast paced manufacturing team
Key Responsibilities
- Trim, bond, and assemble carbon fibre components using engineering drawings and manuals.
- Assemble components, jigs, and fixtures.
- Have a ca do attitude to problem solving
- Maintain the highest quality standards for all composite components.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing engineering
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety requirements.
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in trimming/fitting a wide range of composite materials, ideally within Motorsport/F1 but other industries will be considered.
- Well versed in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with air tools, hand tools, and adhesives.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical work approach.
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to assist peers.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Happy to work on various shift patterns as required
