We are seeking a skilled Secretary who excels in audio typing and has experience handling confidential and sensitive documents. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Take and transcribe dictations accurately.
  • Audio type various letters and legal documents, ensuring content, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Prepare confidential and sensitive documents with discretion.
  • Handle scanning and photocopying as requested by Fee Earners.
  • Manage collating and franking of post.
  • Deal with incoming telephone calls, noting the time and date of messages.
  • Book appointments for clients to attend the office.
  • Assist Fee Earners and other staff members as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client records at all times.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably required, adapting to changes and prioritising workload effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a secretary or Personal Assistant is desirable.
  • Demonstrable fast audio typing speed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential.
  • IT literate with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle workload under minimum supervision.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes, and prioritise workload.
