Branch Manager

Location:Thame & Eynsham, Oxfordshire, UK
Salary:65,000 - 70,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage approximately 30 staff members at Thame, including cylinder fillers, compressed gas and liquid helium handlers, maintenance technicians/engineers, and transport managers.

  • Oversee a team of approximately 20 at Eynsham, including teams leaders and production managers.

  • Customer-facing role at Eynsham, addressing issues positively face-to-face.

  • Ensure site security and infrastructure at Thame, including legionella and asbestos management updates.

  • Being point of contact at for both sites across all operational hours.

  • Lead productivity and safety initiatives, with occasional travel to other sites.

  • Participate in management meetings via Teams and occasionally at alternative sites.

Requirements:

  • DVLA issued driving licence (maximum 3 points).

  • Experience in line management or production management in an industrial setting (e.g car manufacturing or another industrial sector).

  • Trade union experience is preferable but not essential.

  • NEBOSH qualification is strongly preferred but not essential; BOC will provide training if needed.

  • Ability to be self-sufficient quickly and make decisions within a framework.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

Training and Development:

  • Comprehensive onboarding and training for the first 6 months.

  • Support from direct manager and other colleagues across the business.

  • Participation in the LINDE leadership programme and new production managers training programme.
