General Foreman

First Task Professional are delighted to be working alongside a business who are looking to build a project team for an infrastructure development in East Lothian.

The business are currently going through an extensive period of growth with many long-standing client offering repeat business and several frameworks offering a teeming pipeline of projects. They are due for a record year in terms of turnover and are likely to continue to ascend for the remainder of the decade.

They are currently seeking a Foreman to bolster the project delivery team.

The right candidate will have demonstrable experience in the following:

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure progress as planned.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulations.
• Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and guide workers.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
• Communicate with engineers, project managers, and workers.
• Address on-site challenges and unexpected issues.
