We are pleased to be recruiting a Sales Key Account Manager for our international client in the Tredegar area.

Job Purpose

The Key Account Sales Manager is responsible for achieving commercial objectives with one or more key customers, for all products . They manage and develop the portfolio of key account customers. The role is to conduct commercial negotiations with their clients with a view to renewing existing contracts as a minimum. But also, to develop new agreements.

Activities & Responsibilities

  • Management and development of daily commercial activities, prospecting and recruitment of new customers (OE or IAM) to achieve the assigned budget objectives;
  • Look for new opportunities with existing products, and new products to obtain a continuous growth of the turnover;
  • Oversee negotiations on product prices and related contracts and agreements ensuring profitability in line with objectives;
  • Look for any new opportunity on the portfolio of existing products and promote the new technologies available;
  • Negotiate performance plans;
  • Manage requests for quotes (RFQ) process and lead the definition of prices;
  • Analyze market and competition data;
  • Support sales analysis and 3 month forecast against budget, and do so on a monthly basis in BU format;
  • Manage PC1, PC2, budget and STRAP figures for clients under his responsibility;
  • Assume a role of general representation of the company;
  • Work in close collaboration with the Project and R&D department

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Good command of written and spoken English to manage key accounts with international members;
  • Strong negotiation skills and good command of sales techniques;
  • Mastery of sales cycles and ability to build complex offers;
  • Pragmatic, autonomous approach and problem-solving skills (transforming problems into opportunities)
  • SAP and CRM experience
  • Proficiency in the office pack, particularly Excel
