Job Title: HR Reward Advisor

Working Hours: Part Time (2-3 Days but full time would be considered)

Location: Tring, Hertfordshire

We have an exciting new opportunity that has arisen for a HR Reward Advisor to join our growing team here at hr inspire!

The primary purpose of the role of HR Reward Advisor is to support the HR Reward Consultant with the delivery of professional, practical and commercially focused Reward activity to enhance the service offering to the portfolio of SME customers.

You will be a team player with the ability to deliver work independently and at pace as well as be able to demonstrate experience of supporting and coordinating reward related projects and activities, such as salary benchmarking, pay review, Gender Pay Gap reporting and Employee Benefits Schemes. You will be collaborative and communicative in your approach to support the team and the wider business.

You will have the ability to see trends and use your data analysis and technical skills to support all areas of People activity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The provision of analytical support for salary benchmarking exercises and annual salary reviews, through the collation, calculation and analysis of data and report delivery for customers.
  • To provide support to the HR Reward Consultant to ensure a professional Reward consultancy service to the Company’s portfolio of customers. Services to include:
  • The support of research, review, and administration of Bonus and Commission Schemes including drafting Scheme documentation and rules, and suitable wording for Contracts of Employment.
  • The research and preparation of bespoke employee benefits proposals for customers including, for example, Health Cash Plans, Retail Discount Schemes and Cycle to Work Schemes.
  • Researching and implementing innovative and proactive business led Reward Solutions to support the people management challenges that customers face.
  • Monitoring legal and any other changes that may have an impact on customers and the Reward Schemes they offer.
  • Competencies required
  • Clear decision capability in order to ensure excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Technically sound knowledge and experience of Reward best practice and up to date knowledge of current and impending legislation.
  • Intuitive approach to exploring commercial solutions and sharing these with the HR Reward Consultant to translate this into business led Reward solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.

  • CIPD Qualified (desirable)
  • Experience in a consultancy or fast paced business sector (desirable)
