This exciting opportunity allows the successful candidate to work on a wide range of commercial property matters, representing a diverse client base, including developers, investors, and other stakeholders. This senior management role also offers the chance to mentor junior solicitors and contribute to the department's growth and success.

The Senior Commercial Property Associate Role

The successful Senior Commercial Property Associate will manage a varied caseload of complex commercial property matters from start to finish. They will provide expert legal advice on transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projects. The Senior Commercial Property Associate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting documents, negotiating deals, and collaborating with other departments within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. They will also mentor and supervise junior staff, develop client relationships, and participate in networking and business development to support the growth of the department.

The ideal Senior Commercial Property Associate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in commercial property law
  • Proven ability to manage complex commercial property transactions independently
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior colleagues
  • A client-centric approach with a focus on delivering outstanding service
  • Ambition to grow and develop the Commercial Property department
