Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting our award winning client in Trowbridge in the recruitment of a paraplanner to join the team on a permanent basis.

As a paraplanner you will have previous industry experience and be joining a professional and qualified team, on joining our client you will benefit from a structured training / induction programme which each new joiner passes through when joining this small and friendly team.

As a paraplanner your day to day duties will be as per below;

  • Supporting the consultants ahead of their client meetings.
  • Preparation of compliant and technical suitability reports and financial life plan reports detailing consultants recommendations to the client.
  • Client annual reviews.
  • Carry out technical research and analyse data collected on behalf of clients.
  • Accurately invest client money as per consultants recommendations post client meetings.
  • Liaise with clients post meetings answering any technical queries.
  • Proactive in identifying investments / tax savings opportunities for clients.
  • Manage and prioritise your own workload.
  • Evaluate investment portfolios with consultants.
  • Liaising and working closely with the service team.

To be considered for this role you will have prior industry experience and be chartered status or as a minimum working towards this along with paraplanning experience of ideally 5 years.

You will also posses excellent communication skills and knowledgeable within IT including experience of Microsoft packages Word and Excel.
