Ad-Hoc LGV1 Driver

Thrive Group are looking for skilled and reliable Class 1 drivers on an ad-hoc basis around the Wiltshire area. This will be for a variety of companies and all different shifts will be available.

Pay will range from 15 - 20 per hour

Hours - 8 to 45 hours per week

Duties

• Operate a lorry to transport goods to various locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it properly for transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all local, regional, and national driving regulations and company policies.
• Manage routes efficiently to optimise delivery times while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving licence (Class 1) with a clean record.
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Must be over 25 years old
• Familiarity with different lorries will be beneficial
