Key Responsibilities:•    Manage and lead the benefits administration team responsible for delivering high-quality service to all scheme members.•    Supervise, appraise, train, and recruit team members.•    Support the team in developing their understanding of the rules of the pension schemes they administer, as well as wider pension-related legislation and guidance.•    Resolve complex benefit queries and provide expert advice.•    Monitor and improve team performance and processes.

Skills:•    Excellent ICT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and pension systems.•    Strong organizational and time management abilities.•    Ability to analyze complex problems and make informed decisions.•    Extensive experience in reviewing and implementing changes in complex systems and practices. •    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.•    Strong customer focus and commitment to professional development.

Qualifications:•    Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.•    CIPP Foundation Degree in Pensions Administration and Management/PMI Diploma.•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pension administration.•    Proven experience in managing a team.•    Extensive knowledge of Local Government Pension Scheme regulations.
