Are you an Engineer or Technician with Mechanical and Electrical knowledge looking to join a close-knit team, who will provide full training on state-of-the-art, automated machinery, where you will progress as a high skilled Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer?

Do you want to be part of the next generation of maintenance engineers working within a recently refurbished factory full of bespoke manufacturing machinery, for a stable company who have been established for over 70 years?

This role involves reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of food manufacturing machinery, they have a strong culture for recognising their staff and actively encourage a Lean and continuous improvement environment.

This role would suit a trainee or junior maintenance Engineer, or someone looking for an opportunity outside of the Forces, offering a variety of challenging work, on-the-job training, an opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime and progression to become a go-to technical expert.

The Role:

  • On-the-job training (conveyers, servos, manufacturing machines)
  • Preventative (75%) and reactive maintenance (25%) in a FMCG environment
  • Monday to Friday, four shift pattern 4am - 12pm, 5am - 1pm. 10am - 6pm and 3pm - 11pm (On call 1 week in 4 / plenty of overtime available)

The Person:

  • Trainee or Junior aspiring Maintenance Engineer
  • Electrical qualification - B-TEC, or NVQ, or HNC or HND in engineering
  • Hobbies or interests or work experience of 'hands on' engineering (Can include Electrical - 3 phase, wiring, servos and Mechanical - fabricating, pumps, conveyers)
