The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Woodsperson to join our small, friendly, and established team, at a very exciting time in the history of woodland management of the Estate. The work is varied and covers all aspects of woodland management, in predominantly broadleaf woodland.Duties include:- Planting, maintenance and establishment.- Thinning and small-scale harvesting.About YouYou will need:- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in woodland management.- The ability to demonstrate a wide range of silvicultural (the growing and cultivation of trees) skills and knowledge.- A full clean driving licence and own transport, as we are in a rural location, with no public transport links.Closing date: Friday 29 November 2024
