Electrical Operations and Maintenance Engineer needed for a leading renewable energy organisation who specialise in Solar PV, Wind and BESS based in Cornwall.

Job: Electrical Operations & Maintenance Engineer

Salary: 38,000 - 40,000 (DOE)

Type: Full-time / Permanent

Location: Cornwall (travel required)

Job Description:

Your role as Electrical Operations and Maintenance Engineer will involve planned and reactive maintenance on renewable energy sites, proactive fault identification, and performance analysis.

You will contribute to our mission of sustainable energy generation!

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor sites on a rotating basis and identifying and responding to faults.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on renewable energy sites.
  • Analyse site performance and implement operational improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Solar PV experience
  • Inspection & Testing qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Methodical, accurate, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Training from inverter manufacturers.
  • CAD software proficiency.
  • Experience in communications setup and configuration.
