Role Profile
Our client is a thriving manufacturing business with a site in Cornwall. They are currently looking to appoint a Manufacturing Accountant to work closely with the Plant Manager to drive greater efficiencies and performance improvements across their fast paced multi-line production operation.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Plant Manager with forecasting and budgeting for the site
- Designing and producing both monthly manufacturing accounts and weekly reports which can be used to drive efficiencies across different production areas
- Providing detailed commentary and analysis on areas such as Production Costs, Stock Variance, PPV and Headcount
- Interpreting data to establish operational actions for the Plant and managing the future costs process to support commercial decision making
- Owning Bills of Material, partnering with the business in support of new products and product development
- Providing additional support to the Supply Chain function including analysis, P&L, forecasting and budgeting
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience as a Manufacturing Accountant, Plant Controller or Finance Business Partner within Manufacturing
- Excellent working knowledge of BOM, Routings, Production Costs, Inventory, PPV, Labour costs etc.
- Proven track record of business partnering at a senior level
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- ACCA or CIMA preferred but not essential if QBE
