Position: School Administration Manager

Working Hours: Initially 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus CPD days), with an additional 12 days during school holidays (47.78 paid weeks per year). Hours are 8:15 AM - 4:15 PM from Monday to Thursday, and 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM on Friday.
Salary: £30,964 FTE per annum/pro rata (based on hours/working weeks). Actual: £28,374.76 per annum (£16.05 per hour).

Role Overview:
As the School Administration Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Headteacher and leading the administration team with professionalism and efficiency. You will be at the centre of our HR operations, managing recruitment, staff absences, and personnel records with precision. Your expertise will ensure our safeguarding administration is exemplary, and the Single Central Record (SCR) is meticulously maintained. You'll keep our staff and student records up-to-date, covering everything from attendance to medical needs, all while ensuring our processes are secure and GDPR compliant. Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a school administration role or similar office environment.
- HR experience, particularly in recruitment, managing staff absences, and maintaining personnel records.
- Familiarity with the Arbor Database is preferred, though training will be provided.
- Proficiency in IT applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Competence in minute-taking.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
