About the Role:

Position: Learning Tutor

Location: Truro, Cornwall
-
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, term-time plus two weeks (40 weeks per year)
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities
-
Support students to develop their skills and confidence

Guide Learning Mentors in lesson delivery and provide feedback on student progress

Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager to ensure the best outcomes for students
What We're Looking For:
-
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students

A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude towards teaching and learning

Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent is preferred
