Management Accountant | Tunbridge Wells | £55k - £60k

Cobb & Jones Recruitment are supporting a dynamic technology services organisation in their search for a Management Accountantfor their growing team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for internal reporting, revenue analysis and supporting with budgets and forecasting. The role requires Advanced Excel skills and the ideal candidate will be confident in communicating and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain monthly control schedules and post journal adjustments for revenue.

  • Review and analysis of costs

  • Perform profitability and margin analysis across all revenue channels, providing commentary against budget/forecast.

  • Reconcile monthly stock balances.

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.

  • Contribute to Board packs by providing KPI and revenue analysis.

  • Conduct monthly financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Provide weekly KPI analysis and dashboard metrics to senior management.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly results and month-end analysis in line with Group reporting deadlines.

  • Support the year-end statutory audit process by preparing audit files and documentation.

  • Develop and implement robust processes and controls to manage financial risks in line with Group requirements.

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Solid experience with ERP and finance systems.

  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and IT skills.

  • Commercially astute with good business acumen.
