Senior Site Engineer
Are you a driven and experienced Senior Site Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor who has a strong track record of delivering high quality projects across the UK is currently looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join their new 68m industrial project in Tunbridge Wells
About the role
This large-scale industrial project features a substantial groundworks package with 500,000 Sqft of industrial space, as part of a collaborative multi-disciplined team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project.
Responsibilities of the Senior Site Engineer
- Oversee all engineering activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to design specifications and industry standards
- Manage site surveys, setting out, and quality control to ensure accurate and precise execution of the project
- Coordinate with the site team, subcontractors and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress
- Monitor construction progress, identifying any deviations from the plans, and implement corrective measures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and site staff
Requirements for the Senior Site Engineer
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer working on large scale projects with deep earthworks
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles and relevant regulations
- Excellent problems solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with ability to manage and mentor junior staff
- Degree in Civil Engineering would be desirable
