Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a highly skilled and strategic Interim Finance Director\Finance Manager to join our client’s team in Tunbridge Wells for 1 day a week. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and financial management at a senior level, preferably within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the company’s executive team.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial planning and management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure robust financial systems and processes are in place to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including investors, banks, and external auditors.
  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
  • Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
  • Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system.
  • Manage the company’s capital investment and expenditure.
  • Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans.
  • Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in creating financial strategies and managing financial systems and budgets.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
