TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is seeking a Mixed Tax Manager for a well-established Independent chartered accountancy practice in Tunbridge Wells.

Our client is expanding its tax department and is looking for an experienced professional to take ownership of the division and drive its growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to shape and develop their career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert tax advisory services across various areas, including income tax, corporate tax, inheritance tax, estate planning, and capital gains tax.
  • Support colleagues with tax-related queries across a diverse client base, including individuals, small businesses, and corporate clients.
  • Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and supporting documents, ensuring compliance with deadlines and tax regulations.
  • Offer strategic tax planning to help clients optimize their tax positions.
  • Conduct research on complex tax matters, delivering practical, solutions-focused advice.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling enquiries and resolving disputes.
  • Stay updated on changing tax legislation to ensure compliance with the latest tax laws.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance on technical and procedural aspects.
  • Assist in corporate group restructuring to enhance tax efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

Mixed Tax Manager Tunbridge Wells

  • Be ACA/ACCA, ATT or CTA qualified with experience in both private client and corporate tax
  • Ideally have experience with both compliance and advisory work
  • Excellent understanding of UK tax legislation, tax planning and compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
