The Company:A market-leading manufacturer is seeking an Area Sales Engineer to join their team.
The Role:
- Maintain and expand sales within your account portfolio, aiming to increase the range of products sold to each account.
- Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities to enhance market penetration.
- Develop expertise in products and services, becoming a trusted specialist who supports customers with in-depth knowledge and adherence to company values.
- Strive to meet and exceed company, team, and individual KPIs.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and activities, and perform all assigned duties professionally.
- Actively contribute to a team-based sales approach, supporting colleagues with opportunities and seeking assistance from the sales team when necessary, ensuring the best resource is utilised to secure sales.
- Champion the brand
The job requires travel across the South East of the UK.
The Candidate:
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical sales environment.
Customer-focused individual.
Able to work autonomously.
Hold a valid UK driving license.
Must have the full right to work in the UK indefinitely.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
The Package:The salary offered for this position is 40,000-50,000, plus a company car and bonus, for candidates who meet all key qualifications and abilities.
