About the Role

As the Goods In Manager, you will oversee all incoming stock operations, including inter-branch transfers, stock returns, and the overall upkeep of stock storage areas and the yard. You will ensure accurate receipt and dispatch of goods into the systems, while promptly addressing any errors with suppliers. Additionally, you will train your team to maintain high standards and prevent future mistakes.

Collaboration will be key to success in this role, as you'll work closely with other department managers and key stakeholders to ensure stock is processed smoothly and made available as efficiently as possible.

What do you need?

  • Experience working in a busy incoming goods environment.
  • Ideally, experience using computerised stock management systems and handheld barcode scanners.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours if required during peak times.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other standard IT applications.
  • A forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).
