Job Title: Primary Special Needs Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Start Date: September 2025
Are you a passionate Special Needs Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Autism? We are seeking a Primary SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team, working with Year 7/8 students, delivering lessons at Key Stage 2 level. No prior experience in SEN is required - just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to support the children..
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons tailored to Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on meeting the individual needs of the students
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCo, and other professionals to develop personalized learning plans
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of students
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reporting to parents and colleagues
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- No prior experience in SEN required - we are looking for a motivated and compassionate teacher
- A passion for supporting children with Autism and additional needs
- Strong communication skills
- A commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment
