Job Title: Private Client Paralegal

Salary: £30,000

Location: Tunbridge Wells 

An excellent opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading law firm who have recently opened a new office in Canterbury. We are seeking a highly motivated and career driven Paralegal to join a busy Private Client team. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly reputable team while being given the framework to develop your own career.

Duties include:

  • Providing full legal support to one fee earner
  • Diary management
  • Onboarding new clients and carrying out KYC checks
  • Preparing letters and emails
  • Digital dictation
  • Billing
  • Initial drafting of basic wills and LPAs
  • Dealing with correspondence and ensuring all correspondence and documents are accurately filed in the case management system

The successful candidate will have:

  • Commercial experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant in a Private Client practice
  • Basic understanding and application of Wills and Probate Laws
  • Previous experience with Legal software packages and/or case management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
