GSL Education are actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join one of our fantastic client schools in Tunbridge Wells. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to teach Geography across KS3 to KS5, and help inspire the next generation of learners in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

As a Geography Teacher, you will be joining a school that is committed to both academic excellence and the personal growth of its students. The successful individual will have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and will possess strong subject knowledge, as well as a passion for teaching Geography.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons as a Geography Teacher across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop an interest in Geography.
  • Develop lesson plans and schemes of work that challenge and engage students in line with the school’s policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and take part in departmental and whole school initiatives to ensure the progress of all students.
  • Assess and track student progress regularly, providing feedback to support their academic journey.
  • You will be expected to maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent subject knowledge in Geography and a genuine passion for the subject.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
