Term Time Teachers is collaborating with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school located in Tunbridge Wells, who are currently seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants for a full-time role.

In this role, you will work directly with students with a variety of special educational needs, helping them engage in their learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide one-on-one or group support to students within the classroom and throughout the school day.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to prepare resources and tailor lessons to meet individual student needs.
  • Assist in managing students with emotional or behavioural challenges, using appropriate strategies.
  • Track and monitor students' progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of pupils.

Requirements:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
  • Relevant experience in the industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
