Hours: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Temporary Supply Teacher to support Year 6 students in a Tunstall school as they prepare for their SATS.
This role will focus specifically on English and Maths, providing targeted support and reinforcement of key concepts. You will be working within a supportive school environment, contributing to the students' academic success and confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English and Maths to Year 6 students.
- Focus on SATs preparation, covering key curriculum areas and exam techniques.
- Provide targeted support to students of varying abilities, addressing individual learning needs.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure continuity of learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6, is essential.
- Proven ability to teach English and Maths effectively.
- Strong understanding of the Year 6 SATs curriculum and assessment framework.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and create a positive learning environment.
