Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons as a Science Teacher across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the possibility of Key Stage 5)
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in line with the national curriculum, using creative and interactive methods as a Science Teacher
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their academic growth as a Science Teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment as a Science Teacher
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall science curriculum as a Science Teacher
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities as a Science Teacher
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE) with experience teaching Science at secondary level as a Science Teacher
- Possess a strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and the ability to deliver it in an engaging and approachable way as a Science Teacher
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a proactive attitude as a Science Teacher
- Be passionate about supporting the academic and personal development of students as a Science Teacher
- Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community as a Science Teacher
- Have a strong commitment to continuous professional development as a Science Teacher
