Livestock Trading Manager

Circa 70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Management of stock purchased.
  • Direct liaising with suppliers
  • Travel to suppliers
  • Ensure quality & service areupheld
  • End to End Sourcing of livestock
  • Closely working with wider supply chain function
  • Upkeep of OTIF
  • Supplier reviews
  • Involved in Welfare & Sustainability policies
  • Welfare & Sustainability policies
  • Work to regulatory, ethical & environmental standards and company and customer requirements.
  • Market trends and data analytics
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to ensure contracts are aligned with regulatory standards, company policies, and customer requirements.
  • Source, onboardand maintain suppliers that meet quality, sustainability, and compliance requirements.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives when possible.
  • Identify and assess potential risks within supply chain.
  • Maintain a risk management structure to ensure continuous of supply.

Requirements:

  • Livestock - Trading/Procurement/Buying/Purchasing/Commercial experience with the food industry.
