This unique client-focussed organisation is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their diverse team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the full financial management of your own portfolio of clients, all of whom pertain to the not-for-profit sector, and you will cover all things financial and management accounts, as well as business planning and budgeting.

The key duties of this Finance Manager are as follows:

  • Manage the external audit process according to the various timelines of each client, preparing the schedules and responding to queries in a timely fashion.
  • Take the lead in the production of the statutory accounts for your portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure that all regulatory returns are completed accurately and maintain relationships with key contacts at HMRC and the bank.
  • Full responsibility for producing the quarterly management accounts for your clients, including the preparation of accruals and prepayments.
  • Lead the annual budget setting process, working closely with the management team in each entity to understand requirements and challenge assumptions as required.
  • Support your stakeholders in the setting of rents and service charges, ensuring any changes in legislation have been accounted for.

This is a brilliant role for someone with a strong background in practice who is now looking to diversify their skillset by supporting a portfolio of clients whose work is providing critical support to vulnerable members of the local community. Furthermore, although the organisation is based in South-West London, opportunities to work from home up to two days per week will be on offer.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of producing end-to-end statutory accounts, either in practice.
  • Ideally, achieved their full accountancy qualification.
  • The ability to evidence experience leading audit processes.
  • Brilliant communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.
