This full-time position is available immediately and will run until the end of the academic year in July 2025. Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum across various levels of study.
- Prepare and assess coursework, contributing to the standardisation process within the teaching team.
- Teach and support students in key areas including coding and programming, mobile app development, game design, data modelling, and robotics.
- Teaching qualifications and relevant experience in computing and technology.
- Strong knowledge of BTEC, OCN, and A Level curricula.
- Experience delivering and assessing modules such as:
- BTEC Level 1/2 Extended Certificate in Information and Creative Technology (Mobile Apps Development).
- BTEC Level 2 Esports Diploma (Design an Esports Game).
- BTEC Level 3 Foundation and Extended Diploma in IT (Data Modelling, IT Project Management).
- Foundation Diploma in Computing (Principles of Computer Science, Computer Games Development).
- OCN Level 3 Access to Computing (Introduction to Robotics).
- A Level in Computing.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the computing curriculum and can deliver content in a dynamic and engaging way.
- Skilled in coding and programming with a practical approach to teaching.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines for assessments and standardisation processes.
