Care Technology OfficerDuration: Initially 3 monthsHours: 36 hours per weekRate: £27 umbrella an hour (£19 PAYE an hour)The London Borough of Richmond and Wandsworth are looking for a Care Technology Officer to join their Adult’s Services based in Twickenham.Responsibilities:
  • Work in a flexible way to deliver, install, demonstrate and maintain care technology solutions to support residents to continue to live safely and independently in their own homes
  • Carry out care technology assessments, installations and risk assessments across the two boroughs
  • Promote the use of a wide range of care technology including staff, health partners, care providers and voluntary sector partners and attend events on behalf of the two councils
  • Undertake maintenance of installed care technology equipment and arrange for repair or replacement as required
  • Support the Care Technology Manager in ensuring frontline social care staff have the information and support they need to assess and refer for care technology including delivering training to staff and attending team meetings
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of adult social care of health sector
  • Knowledge of care technology of other assistive technical problems
  • Knowledge of safe care technology installation processes and procedures and best practice standards
  • Experience of working in a care technology service or monitoring centre
  • Current UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
