We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join this creative and successful brands Product team as a Production Coordinator.

This creative company designs and develops all its products from scratch, supplying fun, trend-driven items to leading retailers worldwide. A Production Coordinator you will ensure products are manufactured by the most suitable factories, using the best possible materials, and meeting all agreed timelines and specifications.

Duties for this Production Coordinator position include:

• Create and maintain the production critical paths for your accounts• Work closely with global factories to ensure all agreed critical path dates are met• Liaise with the technical and compliance team to find the most sustainable and appropriate production partners and materials• Raise purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring all relevant product information and specifications are included• Approve artwork before submission to factories• Review and approve samples and components for both suitability and quality• Lead pre-production sample reviews, managing and actioning feedback both internally and with suppliers, ensuring samples are compliant and improvements are noted for current and future orders• Ensure all orders and factory allocations have been approved by the technical and compliance team• Work closely with account managers, product developers, and logistics teams to resolve any production issues• Ensure inspections are completed in line with the critical path and any outstanding issues are resolved before shipment, visiting factories as required• Lead discussions with factories on resolving any issues• Source new suppliers as needed• Work with the sourcing team and suppliers to find sustainable solutions which meet customer requirements, initiating and driving process improvements to enhance sustainability within the company• Attend trade fairs as necessary

Skills and experience required:

• Experience in a product development, production, buying, operations role or similar • Experience working with overseas suppliers• Working knowledge of production critical paths, including creation and project management• Experience managing critical paths and large SKU counts• Good Microsoft Excel skills• Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to build strong, successful relationships• Thrives in a fast-paced environment• Fantastic organisational skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to multitask• A positive, proactive approach and a great team player
