M ontessori Teacher – Richmond -  Starting ASAP

This is an exceptional opportunity for a committed Montessori Teacher to join a professional and supportive team at a welcoming nursery school in Richmond.  This is a term time only position starting as soon as possible!

The roleAs a Montessori Teacher, your role will involve delivering exceptional care and Montessori education to children aged 0-5. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth, while also observing and assessing each child's development to identify any areas of concern. Collaboration with parents and fellow staff members will be essential to support the unique needs of each child, and you will need to maintain accurate records of their progress and development.

The ideal candidate The nursery believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore you must have the following:

  • Minimum Level 3 Montessori Pedagogy qualification (or other full and relevant Montessori qualification)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
