About the Role:
We are looking for a meticulous and resourceful Due Diligence Researcher to join our team on a two-year fixed-term contract. In this role, you will conduct detailed investigations into individuals and companies, analyzing their legitimacy, reputation, and background. Your work will help our clients make informed decisions by identifying key risks and providing clear, actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive open-source research and utilize internal databases to support due diligence investigations.
  • Collaborate with in-country teams to collect relevant information and ensure comprehensive data capture.
  • Summarize and document findings clearly, attaching all supporting evidence for review.
  • Identify red flags and establish additional lines of enquiry to ensure all relevant information is captured.
  • Evaluate contextual environmental factors that may impact the suitability of subjects under review.
  • Analyse data and intelligence from multiple sources, forming reasoned conclusions.
  • Deliver well-structured reports that present findings logically, emphasizing key risks and areas needing further attention.
  • Manage your workload independently to meet client deadlines, while contributing positively to team goals.
  • Review reports and findings regularly to support self-development and improve investigative practices.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a systematic approach to analyzing diverse information sources.
  • Strong report-writing skills with the ability to present information coherently.
  • A curious and investigative mindset with a proactive approach to uncovering facts.
  • Proficiency in Arabic or Mandarin.
  • Willingness to work in the office 4 days a week.

Desirable:

  • An interest in international politics, finance, crime, and security.
