We are recruiting dedicated Senior/Care Workers from the following areas: Richmond, Ealing, Slough, Guildford, Woking, Cobham, Addlestone, Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Egham, Staines/Ashford, Byfleet and Chertseyto join our team in providing compassionate care for elderly residents in their homes. The role involves supervising and assisting residents with personal care and daily activities, medication administration and prompting, ensuring their well-being, safety and comfort. You must have experience working within the care sector, have a full UK driving license with your own transport, and have a strong verbal and written communication skills.

You responsibilities will include:

  • To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policies and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations, under the direction of the Manager
  • Support residents with social and physical activities
  • Supervise and support residents with personal care tasks, such as showering and dressing
  • Drive the delivery of high-quality care services
  • Monitor residents' health and ensure their well-being
  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior care staff
  • Administer medication when required
Experience required:
  • Senior Care Worker - At least 1 year experience in a senior carer worker position
  • Care Worker - At least 1 year experience in a care worker or in a similar position(preferred but not essential)
  • supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
Skills required:
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues
  • Proficient IT skills for documentation purposes
  • Compassionate nature and genuine interest in caring for the elderly residents
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Attention to details
Licence/Certification:
  • Full UK Driving Licence (is a must)
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
Schedule:
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability
