This forward-thinking, friendly, supportive organisation is looking to recruit a self-sufficient Accounts Payable Assistant, who has excellent attention to detail and is a confident communicator when resolving invoice queries with internal and external bodies.

This is a great opportunity to build your knowledge in a growing business that values development and career progression. The role is also suitable for someone with work experience or an apprenticeship in accounts or finance, and/or someone with invoicing experience, looking to take the next step in their career.

You will join a busy, friendly finance department, where you will support the Accounts Payable Manager with the end-to-end process.

You will need your own vehicle to get to the office due to their rural location.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Inputting supplier invoices.
  • Allocating and coding payments on the system.
  • Dealing with all queries in a timely manner.
  • Internal and external communication, resolving invoice queries.
  • Keeping a record of invoices sent and received from auditors.
  • Supplier account reconciliation.
  • Weekly reporting.
