Found Industrial are looking for a Forklift Warehouse Operative to work alongside our client in Uckfield on a full time basis. The role will include operating forklift, working within the warehouse as part of a team and adhering to health and safety at all times.
The Role of FLT and Warehouse Operative:
- To comply with all relevant accreditation and standards
- Cover Dispatch Manager role in event of absence or holiday
- Be proactive in proposing solutions to any issues or problems
- Assist with running of site including organising goods in, shipping and dealing with logistical queries
- Complete required paperwork and electronic updated relating to dispatched items, stock control and goods in
- Oversee general operations and report issues to relevant person
Duties of Warehouse FLT Operative:
- Picking and preparation of orders for dispatch to customers
- Ensuring all items for dispatch meet brand and regulatory standards
- Assist with training of temporary staff
- Assist with monthly stock inventory counts
- Operate forklift in safe and correct way
- Work to deadlines and timescales
Requirements for Warehouse FLT Operative:
- Background in managing daily operations, including opening, closing and maintaining building security
- Strong understanding and experience adhering to health and safety regulations, particularly in a warehouse setting
- Computer literate
- Valid forklift license
