Job Role: Site Manager (Water Industry)

Salary: £400 - £450 / day

About the role:

Our client, a leading contractor working with Southern Water, is seeking a Site Manager on a contract basis. The role involves managing the daily operations of a wastewater treatment site, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance. This position is inside IR35 and requires a strong leader with experience in wastewater or similar site management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operational Management:
    Oversee daily site activities, ensuring optimal performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Health & Safety:
    Enforce health and safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure CDM compliance.
  • Team Leadership:
    Manage site staff and contractors, ensuring efficient 24/7 operations and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Project Oversight:
    Coordinate on-site projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
    Ensure all operations meet environmental and regulatory standards. Submit performance and compliance reports.
  • Maintenance:
    Manage maintenance schedules and equipment upkeep to minimise downtime.

About you:

  • UK Water project experience
  • Mechanical or Civil qualified
  • Valid; SMSTS, First Aid
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
