As a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting positive behaviour management strategies within the school. This temporary-to-permanent position provides candidates with the flexibility to explore the role and determine the best fit for their skills and career aspirations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement behaviour management plans.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support students with behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with parents and external agencies as needed.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferable.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
