About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with mental health challenges? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CAMHS Practitioner/Social Worker/Community Nurse to join our BeeU Core Mental Health Team in Telford or Shrewsbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments for young people referred to the BeeU service.
  • Provide specialist care planning and interventions in collaboration with service users, carers, and multiagency professionals.
  • Hold a caseload, delivering personcentred, evidence-based treatments.
  • Develop and implement risk assessments and management plans.
  • Contribute to clinical service development and health promotion activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and input data into clinical systems.
  • Offer supervision, training, and mentorship to junior staff and students.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A Registered Mental Health Professional on the NMC or HCPC Register.
  • At least one year of post-registration experience, with evidence of formal training at diploma/degree level.
  • Experience with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
  • Ability to work autonomously in a community setting, making informed clinical decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with service users, carers, and multi-agency professionals.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
