Finance Manager
Annual Salary: £50k - £60k

Reed Finance have exclusively been retained to recruit for a Finance Manager to join an established world class leading business with over 40 years of history in Ulverston, Cumbria. We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, working closely with both the operations group and the board. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the business and supporting the organisation’s diverse client base across the globe. The role will report directly into the Managing Director.
This stand-alone Finance role would suit an all-round finance leader.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle day-to-day financial activities including payroll management, expense reports from business trips, issuing invoices, and chasing debtors.
- Prepare management accounts for board review and final accounts for year-end, including liaising with auditors.
- Utilise Sage Intacct for financial transactions and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the client account management team to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Manage financial dealings with international clients, including foreign currency transactions.
- Oversee financial aspects of relationships with referral agents worldwide, including commission payments.
- Report directly to the board, providing regular updates and strategic insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, particularly in handling comprehensive financial tasks.
- Strong familiarity with financial software, preferably Sage Intacct.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with various teams.
- Experience in managing international financial operations and currency transactions.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision but also collaboratively as part of a team.
