About the Role:As a Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in producing industry-leading solutions. Your responsibilities will include enhancing existing architecture and developing new products and features for our exciting Cloud-based software platform, utilising the latest technologies such as Vue.js 3, .Net Core, Docker, and Azure Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with your team to develop industry-leading solutions.
  • Write thoroughly tested software that meets our code review standards.
  • Manage your work effectively using our Jira issue management platform.
  • Engage with team members, QA engineers, product managers, and project managers in daily stand-up and sprint meetings.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, attention to detail, and a personal drive for outstanding results.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Work with your Line Manager to ensure your skills and knowledge remain current while sharing best practises with colleagues.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft .Net (Core, WebAPI, Kestrel) and C#.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework Core and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
  • A curious, problem-solving attitude and excellent ICT skills (including MS Office).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with strong numeracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and work well within a team or independently.
  • Quick to learn new systems with ease.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure and Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with Docker.
  • Previous experience using Jira.
  • Legacy knowledge of VB.Net and ASP Web Forms.
