Role Overview:

Cast UK are supporting a growing business with As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the freight and logistics industry. Leveraging your sales experience and industry knowledge, you will develop and maintain relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored freight solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the freight or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, services, and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

Renumeration:

35,000 - 45,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Commission
