Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction and civil engineering project as a Utilities Coordinator. Based in Aylesbury, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of statutory undertakers' work while meeting stakeholder requirements. This position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where you will liaise with construction teams, design managers, and other key stakeholders to meet project demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the interface between design and construction teams, statutory undertakers, and stakeholders.
  • Support design assurance processes and ensure compliance with engineering and assurance plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks through early warnings and change control processes.
  • Provide guidance on aligning assurance deliverables with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure readiness for the completion process.
  • Monitor design reviews and ensure adherence to the project’s requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications:
    • SMSTS
    • EUSR Service Avoidance (Category 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2 in Utility Avoidance and Buried Services)
    • EUSR Category 2 or NRSWA Location and Avoidance of Underground Services
  • In-depth knowledge of:
    • HS2 Act, Assurance & PPA’s
    • Utility Regulations for design, construction, and connection works
    • CDM Principal Designer role
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Full UK driving license is mandatory.
