Our client, a heating and compliance subcontractor, is actively seeking a skilled Gas Supervisor Technical Team Leader to join their team on the Wiltshire contract. As a Gas Supervisor, you will play a key role in enabling the delivery of the company's future growth strategy by managing contract requirements for a range of gas-related jobs.
Full Job Description:
As a Gas Supervisor Technical Team Leader, you will be working full-time on a permanent basis, delivering services across the Wiltshire area. You will manage a team of engineers responsible for gas installations, gas maintenance and repairs, void tasks, responsive repairs, and planned maintenance. The role will require you to ensure high standards of work, meet client and business KPIs, and provide leadership for engineers working across domestic and commercial properties.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Ensuring the delivery of works as per contract requirements.
- Deputising for line management when necessary.
- Overseeing regular inspections of asset, van stock, PPE, uniforms, and vehicles.
- Managing end-to-end processes both in the field and back office.
- Applying company escalation protocols when required.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of contract parameters, procurement processes, and gas legislation.
What we are looking for:
- Recognised formal training with relevant qualifications.
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in gas.
- ACS qualifications (CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT).
- LPG and Unvented qualifications are desirable.
- Strong understanding of gas legislation and Health and Safety best practices.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience working in the public sector with a focus on customer service.
